Cozy Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup
A classic dish your whole family can enjoy

1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cups shredded carrots
1 medium yellow onion sliced
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 tablespoons of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
a handful of fresh thyme
1 bay leaf
6 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
Salt and black pepper
2 cups wide egg noodles
3 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Place chicken breasts on the bottom of Crock Pot
- Add carrots, onion, celery, garlic powder, butter, thyme, and bay leaf.
- Pour in chicken broth and water
- Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours
- Shred chicken breast with two forks and cover
- Let soup sit on warm, salt and pepper to taste
- Cook egg noodles per instructions and add parsley to the cooked noodles.
- For each serving, add noodles to bowl and pour soup from the Crock Pot over them
